Raffles Boston – Luxury Hospitality Interior and Lifestyle Photography
When Raffles Boston opened its doors, it brought something the city hadn’t seen before: a true urban luxury resort in the heart of Back Bay, stacked with restaurants, a rooftop pool, and interiors that felt more like a private club than a hotel. Getting to document it was one of the more satisfying shoots of the year.
I worked directly with the hotel team on a full day of content refreshes in June, covering interiors, food and beverage, and general lifestyle imagery across the property. The brief was broad in the best way: capture the space and the experience, from the architectural details to seasonal food programming happening across multiple outlets.
The interiors at Raffles are resounding—rich materials, deliberate lighting, grand and inviting at the same time. Shooting them meant working carefully with the existing light and supplementing only where necessary to keep the mood intact. The goal was always to make the space feel inhabited and alive, not staged.
We were working in the summer months when Long Bar and Terrace were fully open and in swing. The food and beverage work ranged from plated dishes on the terrace to bar setups and ambient dining moments. Raffles runs a serious F&B program, and the imagery needed to reflect that: elevated but not precious.
Raffles Boston sits at the intersection of where I do my best work: luxury hospitality with strong design integrity and a kitchen program worth shooting seriously. For hotel groups, restaurant brands, and design-led properties looking for a luxury hospitality photographer available nationally and internationally this is the kind of project I’m built for
