White Barn Inn, Kennebunkport ME – Summer Hospitality Photography

Kennebunkport has a particular energy in May — the season hasn’t fully arrived yet, but the best properties are already ready for it.

White Barn Inn, an Auberge Resorts property tucked into the quiet of the Maine coast, is exactly that kind of place. We went in ahead of the summer rush to build out a seasonal content library that could carry the property through its busiest months.

The shoot covered a lot of ground in a single day. Lobster bake on the property, restaurant refreshes across their dining offerings, cottage interior updates, and two lifestyle setups that leaned into what Kennebunkport does best, a beach picnic styled for the most discerning guests, and biking along the beautiful Maine coast.

The interiors at White Barn Inn are specific to New England in the best way. Historic bones, warm materials, the kind of rooms that feel curated without feeling precious. The cottage refresh meant working room by room with natural light as the primary source , supplementing carefully to keep the residential feel intact.

The lobster bake was the centerpiece of the food work. Maine in summer doesn’t need much styling; the product does the heavy lifting. The goal was to keep it honest and elevated at the same time, the way Auberge always wants its food programming to read.

The beach picnic and biking content were the lifestyle anchors, imagery designed to sell the experience of being in Kennebunkport as much as being at the hotel. That’s the work that performs on social and digital, and Auberge understands that better than most.
